Help
At Core Community, we know that family and community is the best opportunity for restoration for your loved one. With deep community knowledge and connections we’ll assist all parts of reintegration.
Derived from nearly two decades of firsthand professional work in criminal justice, substance abuse recovery, and community supervision.
Core Community’s Mission
Providing educational knowledge and encouraging insight into Criminal Justice for families or support teams experiencing moments of hardship with a loved one.
Situations range often and may include substance abuse, new arrests or law contact, court processes, mental health, and/or community reintegration.
The Goal
At Core Community Consulting, we help remove fear and anxiety from incarceration, supervision, and court processes. With our help, you get the knowledge you need to make informed decisions that save your family time, money, and stress.
What about reducing stress??
Maybe you’re not trying to navigate the legal process as much as you’re trying to prevent it. Whether it’s the stress keeping you up at night, constant discussions or even arguments, distractions making your workload harder, or how drained you feel from the process, it’s all challenging.
The emotional toll these processes take on the family’s life is very real and we want to bring insight and resources to this situation. We’ll help you focus your energy where you need to. Having information upfront, allows you to know what to look for, questions to ask, in order to make better, long-term decisions.
What would it be worth to have access to better resources and the peace of mind that it brings? Start with your free twenty minute consultation call.
We can’t change the past, but we can certainly help your future.
How will consultation save you time and money??
Chances are you’ve already spent money on a bail/bondsman, lost time from work, spent countless hours looking up resources, and/or are overwhelmed with not understanding the time frame, process, and legal jargon for your loved one. Maybe you reached out to your attorney and didn’t hear back or didn’t feel confident with the answer you received.
Did you know that the average attorney in Texas charges $150-300 an hour? A good attorney is a necessity, and you will find out quickly their main responsibilities are to court matters and proceedings.
This is where we come in.
Understanding that so much of the financial burden falls on the family, we want to help save you from wasting finances with poor resources or processes that won’t work. Many cases with courts are probated and have several requirements. Imagine if you could have information and resources upfront which give you a better understanding of your situation overall and how to navigate the in between periods with an easily accessible resource for your questions.
A consultation will serve you in the long run by helping keep fees down, detailing how to spend time, and where to place your effort.
The family’s guide to criminal justice through case management, community resources, and recovery.
When we say “community” we’re speaking to the local and accessible network of resources, agencies, and people that offer support to one another.

Frequently Asked Questions?
What exactly do you do?
Think of us as family advocates.
A support system, resource, and representative for the family. We wear many hats and have a deep skillset. However please know we are not therapists, attorneys or police officers (though big fans of all three).
Because of experience, we’re aware of the gap between the family’s understanding of criminal and court process. We know this inhibits their ability to support their loved one and also care for themselves well during the process.
We aim to point you in the right direction, give you the questions to ask, provide information to programs and resources, and break down complicated criminal justice barriers so that you have the understanding you need to face any decisions that come your way with confidence.
Since you have the information you need on the front end, it will save you time, money, and stress later (head back to the main page for more on that). You’ll use resources better when you have Core Community on your side.
How do I decide which package to choose?
We recommend not thinking about this too much right now. During your free consultation call, we’ll discuss solutions on how you can move forward. Depending on your circumstances, we’ll present you with information on all (and other possibilities too, should they be helpful).
What are normal business hours?
Like many consulting entities we strive to meet when it is best for the client. As needed and when most helpful, we’ll utilize week nights and weekends. We commonly use the calendar and email on the contact page to arrange meetings so this is the best way you can reach us.
How soon will I hear from you once I submit the contact form?
We understand that you’re trusting us to help and that you’re looking for a response quickly. We strive to respond to all within two business days.
How is the consultation call and Starter/Road map different?
With the time frame of 20 minutes we won’t be able to speak to everything. The free consultation is broad and more big picture, while the starter package and road map will leave you with a specific plan and detailed next steps. We’ll do the research for you so that you don’t have to.
